Overview & goals of campaign
My [self, friend, relative, spouse, patient] has been devastated by the lasting side effects of a heavy metal used in MRI contrast called gadolinium. To date, an FDA approved antidote does not exist. Dr. Brent Wagner & his team are one of the few groups of scientists, without any financial conflicts of interest, who are committed to investigating gadolinium caused disease & possible solutions.
Patients are calling upon you to help by joining the #5AliveDrive & pledging $5 a month for 1 year to the University of New Mexico Kidney Institute. Of course you can donate more or just one time but we wanted to make this an accessible team effort. Giving is incredibly easy; you can set up monthly, recurring payments of a dollar amount you choose & you can put a limit on how long the donations will be automatic. Your donation- no matter the amount- will have a tremendous impact on the future of many people who currently feel hopeless. If you are unable to donate, you can still be a part of the campaign by sharing on social media or by forwarding this to your friends, family, & employers. All efforts are appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. Let people know you are a part of the #5AliveDrive & share on social media once you have donated!
